Michael A. Nees, Ph.D.
Dr. Nees joined the faculty of Lafayette College as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology in Fall, 2011. He was awarded a Ph.D. in psychology from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2009. Before coming to Lafayette, Dr. Nees taught at Spelman College and worked as a post-doctoral researcher at Georgia Tech. He received a B.A. in psychology and English literature from DePauw University.
His research interests include auditory perception, auditory imagery and working memory, human factors issues with auditory and multimodal displays, in-vehicle technologies, assistive technologies, accessible and universal design, and accommodations for standardized testing.
